My name is Bryan Castleberry and I have been working with dogs for nearly two decades in a variety of settings including: working at large (150-200 dogs) boarding, breeding, and training facilities in Los Angeles, managing a small boarding kennel(40-60 dogs) in the Lake Tahoe area, caretaking 75 Iditorod Huskies through an Alaskan winter, bitework with Military Working Dogs in the USAF, handling high dollar dogs in the AKC show ring, and volunteer work with the Humane Society.
I now operate my own Boarding and Training facility on the east side of Bend. My wife, Emily, and our wonderful staff help me out when I don't have enough hands to do everything at once. We are located just 6 miles east of Downtown Bend, but the incredible Central Oregon views and country air make the area feel much more rural. Keep in mind that we run a free range operation as opposed to a traditional kennel; the dogs recieve a LOT more one on one interaction. The dogs will be outside as much as possible during the daytime, weather permitting, for up to 8 hours. The dogs are crated at night for sleeping and at short times throughout the day for meals, naps, or group rotations.
Your dog will enjoy a more family-like atmosphere here as opposed to a traditional kennel with dog runs. He will learn the basic manners of being a good house dog and a calm, submissive pack member. Our over-sized play field meets the demands of even the most athletic dogs, and your pup will gain the socialization that is crucial to her well being. If your dog needs lots of attention, stimulation, and exercise, this is the place to be!
Our goal is to help people understand their pet's behavior so they can truly benefit from one of the greatest treasures life has to offer; the bond between Human and Canine. Call us if we can assist you in this process. 541-383-2115.
